Our Top Ice Cream Parlours in Munich – Part 2

Posted on July 31, 2018April 15, 2021 by Marisa

We believe there is no such thing as too many posts on where to find the best ice cream treats in Munich!  Join us as we discover cool and unique ice cream shops where you can satisfy your high summer cravings and beat the heat!

Last year, we sacrificed our own waistlines to discover our top ice cream parlors in Munich and it was such a hit with our readers that we decided to continue the summer tradition.  We will once again disregard the fact that it is swimsuit season in order to bring you more tasty and unique ice cream treats!

Here are MORE of our top ice cream parlours in Munich:

Eis Wilhelm

Owned by Herzog cafe, Eis Wilhelm pairs their ice cream flavors with unique, fresh toppings to create distinct flavors.  For example, fresh basil sprinkled on a scoop of mango sorbet or fleur de sel adding savory goodness to one of our favorite flavors, pistachio! If you don’t eat dairy, no problem, as there are many yummy sorbets to choose from. Also, for an added treat, add a delicious macaron to your scoop or try it alone!

Opening Hours: Mon-Sat, 11:30 to 19:00
Address: Lenbachplatz 7

Sweet Monkeys

Cool off this summer if you happen to be in the Pasing neighborhood, at Sweet Monkeys. Wonderful unique flavors, such as goat milk ice cream with pear, or peanut butter brownie! Yummy!! Homemade, without any artificial colors, as well as vegan and lactose-free options.

Opening Hours: Tues – Sun 12:00 -20:00
Address: Haidelweg 13

Fizzy Bubele München

We love shopping at all of Munich’s local neighborhood markets, however, during the hot summer months we often find ourselves over at Elisabethmarkt in Schwabing! Why? Because we like to reward ourselves with a cool sweet treat after our shopping chores are done.  With an incredible assortment of ice cream or frozen yogurt flavors, unique toppings, and ice cream sandwiches, a stop at Fizzy Bubele will definitely satisfy any sweet tooth!

Opening Hours: Mon-Fri 12:00 to 19:00; Sat 11:00 to 19:00
Address: Am Elisabethmarkt Stand 3

Amorino

Gourmet Italian Gelato is on the menu here at Amorion. Plus lots of other desserts and treats! We are in love with all the specialty flavors, and here we found some of the most incredible vegan sorbets as well.  Not to mention the beautiful presentation, turning each cone into a flower – a little romance in your day and we are in love!

Opening Hours: Mon-Fri from 12:00-20:00, Sat from 11:00 – 20:00
Address: Schützenstraße 7

Two awesome places for ice cream treats outside of Munich while cooling off at the lakes:

Offering “Artisan-Made” ice cream using 100% natural ingredients such as local Bavarian milk or fresh produce, there is quality and love in every bite. Also, if you are looking for gluten-free and vegan, options, they have you covered!
