Kaltenberger Ritterturnier

Transport yourself to the medieval times for a fun filled weekend full of Knights, Jesters, Magic & More.

When: 28 July – 30 July 2017 (last weekend)

The Bayreuth Festival

One of the most exciting musical theater festivals in the world, presenting operas by the 19th-century German composer Richard Wagner.

Drachenstich-Festspiele (Slaying of the Dragon) in Fürth im Wald

Fürth, located halfway between Nuremberg and Prague, celebrates the oldest folk play in Germany. The Drachenstich Festspiele depicts the mythical slaying of the dragon, which threatened the city during the Middle Ages. A full program includes a historic parade, flea market, live music & more.

The Waldfest season along lake Tegernsee starts in June and lasts thru August.
