Although it´s not Japan, you can satisfy that sushi craving in Munich. Find your fix here.
I´m going off on a tangent here, but you´ll understand why in a minute. I´ve had issues with my thyroid before, so it´s essential I consume iodine. Seaweed has high levels of iodine. Lack of iodine may lead to fatigue & grumpiness, at least that´s what I tell my husband. So he makes sure to take me out on a regular basis to get my dose of Japanese cuisine… so gullible!
Japanese restaurants pleasing to the eye as well as to your appetite:
Kaito – take a journey to Japan at this truly authentic restaurant. My favorite, so far, Kaito delivers a traditional experience with great food and service. Try their sushi/sashimi platter and Matcha ice-cream, to name a few.
Yuki Hana – Yuki Hana has some amazing Ramen for those cold wintry nights and the sushi… yum! They even have eel! Affordable lunch specials are offered, which is best enjoyed in their outdoor seating area. No website, but follow them on Facebook.
Fuji Sushi & Nudel – it´s just good and inexpensive!!!
Sushibar – upscale and modern, it is also more expensive; however, the quality of the food, the attentive service and the ambiance makes it worthwhile.
