China Moon Rooftop Bar & Restaurant
Located atop the beautiful Mandarin Hotel in the heart of old town Munich. In our opinion, this rooftop terrace is home to the best overall view of the city. If you are just visiting and are only in town for a short time during the summer months, this place is definitely worth a visit. Cocktails are a bit pricey, but the view makes them totally worth it!

Emiko Rooftop Bar & Café
Quaint and enchanting, this rooftop terrace is located on the 6th floor of the Louis Hotel. The hidden nature of the terrace is a mini break from Munich’s hectic city life. Enjoy an afternoon coffee or refreshing cocktail during the day with views of the Alter Peter. Or arrive after 6PM to dine on amazing modern Japanese cuisine!

Entrance: Elevator for Louis Hotel located directly in the Viktualienmarkt Passage zum Marienplatz, next to the Beluga chocolate shop. Take the elevator up to the 6th floor labeled Terrasse, Fitness, Sauna.
Blue Spa Bar & Lounge
We arrived one night at 10PM and the night was magical. View the cathedral up close. Located in the luxurious Hotel Bayerischer Hof, a visit to this rooftop bar should not be missed!

This trendy rooftop terrace is situated atop the Flushing Meadows Hotel, located in the lively Glockenbachviertel. Enjoy “breakfast with a view” as you sip on a tasty smoothie. Or partake in one of Robin Bruderhofer’s cocktail creations after 5 PM and watch the sunset.

Located on the 5th floor of the TUM University, this rooftop bar & café is always bustling with academics, faculty and those that come to enjoy the view.

9:00 – 22:00 (May – August)
9:00 – 21:00 (September, October, March, April)
9:00 – 18:00 (November – February)

Address: Arcisstr. 21, Munich; 5th Floor, South terrace
Entrance: On Arcisstraße, through the front doors of the TUM Architecture Campus. Follow the signs to Vorhölzer Forum. Take the elevator up to the 4th floor, then the stairs up to the 5th floor.
